Hey everyone,

Closely following everyone's timelines here I'm pretty excited to get that first initial AOR.. do they email that to the sponsor or the principal applicant?

This is my 2nd application - the first one I sent had expired application forms... that really sucked!

They will send your AOR and SA to the sponsor's email.... After your application gets transferred to the visa office it will be sent to both the applicant and Sponsor

Hello everyone i submitted my partner file at Mississauga office. my partner is in india. i sent my file on 5th of February through Canada post express mail they received on 9th February. Didn't get any reply yet already 1 month .anybody same time line please let me know whats going on and whats their status and how many days cic take to send 1AOS. and after that what the process please and thank you

You still have at least two to three weeks to wait ahead of you. People that submitted at the end of January still have not all heard back from CIC. Check out the spreadsheets in my signature. Add your details as well.

Thanks so much countrygal - has there been any reports of these emails going to junk or anything like that? I'll make sure my wife has her eyes out for the AOR within the next 2 weeks!

No problem! If you read a couple pages back I posted what the email exactly looks like( what it is titled and what the email has in it) and it doesn't hurt to check your junk email JUST incase....but it should go directly to your inbox.

Just got my AOR today. 40 days since they received my application. They got my application on Feb. 1.

So everyone, yours is coming soon!

Thanks guys. you can tell they started sending out AOR for Feb application now as long as your material is complete.

I got UCI and Application number, and so far i could not check anything on line yet. I guess it will probably take some time for them to sync the account information. I have been following this forum, but didn't join in till today when I have some good news to share.
