Hello everyone i have one quick question this monday my wife recieved email from new delhi office they recieved her file for PR and next day her application iS in process today we again checked it shows medical have been recieved.now i have one question she get admission in windor university i want to know can we apply student visa directly from india or first she have to come through spouse visa then apply for study permit in india plz give me suggestion and our both sides status shows in process

She can apply for temporary status while the PR is in process. If she requires an interview she would have to travel back to India for it if she is granted the visa and is in Canada.

Congrats! It seems that things are going faster than I thought. I thought it would take around 1 year to get the visa but I see other Europeans getting it in 5-8 months. I'm in Italy sponsoring my husband. I'm sending the application in a couple of weeks, but don't plan on moving till next May. I wonder, after receiving the visa, how much time they give us to land. I also hope we don't have to re-do the medical exam if it expires. We're doing it on Tuesday and it costs 320 euros. What do you guys think?

You usually have until your medical exam expires to land. So if your medical exam is valid one year and you get the visa in 8 months you will have 4 months to land.

As for the price I have no idea as my wife took her in Indonesia and it only cost $130 CAD

They will start to process the applicants portion of the application and you should recieve AOR2 soon

I got the third line today too. From what I gathered London VO almost never sends AOR2, so I should consider the third line as an AOR2. So happy!

AOR2 basically means that his application is complete and being processed is that correct?

It means that it's been recieved by the VO overseas. If your application wasn't complete they would have returned it when it was sent to Mississauga. If you don't recieve a request for additional documents in the next couple weeks I think you're good.
