If you are sending the application by a courier service, use the following address (no public drop-offs):

That should answer your question

No problem, that's what this forum is here for, am I right?! ;Dmega_option101 said:Great find - I knew there was something more official than what I could recall from the top of my head
Thank you for looking it up!
I thought I was the only one who found it misleading! In my case I am sponsoring my husband so he is the principal applicant. Only he will fill it out. Thanks for the help I aslo think there's a lot more confusing and/or misleading things that CIC should clarify!!!ai_hopeful said:same thing happened to me... I was told to submit this form. WHAT A MISLEADING NAME THE FORM HAS.
I'm being sponsored by my Canadian Husband.
From what I understand, the form is to be filled up by the principal applicant. In my case it was myself. I'm only applying for myself so I only filled up information of myself.
I haven't received AoR yet maybe seniors could explain better.
You are quite welcomeAmandaCanDR1 said:I thought I was the only one who found it misleading! In my case I am sponsoring my husband so he is the principal applicant. Only he will fill it out. That will knock the application a few weeks back like mine was. people are getting their AoR but I have to wait for mine still due to this... extra 3 or 4 weeks.mega_option101 said:You are quite welcome
I really hope that this does not delay your application.
It is fine, as long as you used P.O box of Outland case processing centre. You don't specifically need to mention "Spousal Sponsorship" on the address ;Ddoor said:its ok if i forget to add spousal sponsorship to the address ?
It can be misleading for sure but that's why we need to memorize the checklist. And also guides are very useful. When you download the documents, make sure you make two folders one for sponsor and one for principal applicant, that way the documents won't be mixed.AmandaCanDR1 said:I thought I was the only one who found it misleading!
