February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Hi there, I don't work in the food industry, I work in media and still waiting. Got my Notes through yesterday from CIC and as the rest of you, security is my hold up it even says "not started" from a month ago which is not a good sign... guess we shall just have to wait for longer!

Thats sad. It mean something else is holding the file... i don't believe what ever cic agent saying.. background check for what?? I saw a guy here in forums, his application was sent on same time as mine and his back ground history was same too, but he applied from a different job. I lived in New Zealand for 4 years and him as well. But he had his ppr in March 2015. Sorry i am just going crazy with these cic actions..

Me too!!! I just don't understand them either. I came here as an international student. I've never lived in any country other than my home country and Canada for more than 2 weeks. People applied 6 months later than me have got their PPR, my friend even served in military in my country but his application has never been delayed.

Hello every one, ;D i have applied the pnp application on 26 feb 2014 and got IP on 3 september 2014 since then nothing but on 26 may i called cic and they told me that my medical has been sent for extension.Do anyone know how much time it will take to recieve the extended medical by case processing officer. ;D

IN PROCESS, I see you and I have similar timelines...I submitted my application to CIC on 27 Feb 2014, got IP on 5 March 2015 and DM on 13 May 2015 respectively.

My medicals took about 4 months before it was extended on May 6, 2015 to May 6, 2016. The request to extend my medicals was put in in Jan. 2015.

No updates yet...im going to complete 16 months on 7 June. Looks like its gonna take a month or so ( cant say for sure though).

Hello all February Applicant in the PnP category: I applied on Feb 25, 2014 and after the long wait (but you folks constant updates kept me sane), I got Decision made last wednesday and on thursday, I got an email saying Ready for Visa. Hang in there folks! There's light at the end of the tunnel.

You and I have similar timelines...I applied on Feb. 27/2014, I got DM 3 weeks ago but still waiting for the magical PPR email from almighty CIC. Hmmm...its only a matter of time before this waiting game is over!
