where did you see exactly the due date on ur gcms notes? I have my gcms notes but i donno where to see the due date

Check the second page of your GCMS notes under the heading "Application Assignment" you will see it there.

If yours is blank it may that your application is yet to be assigned to an officer. What is the current stattus of your application? IP or DM?

I guess that explains why yours is blank under application assignment. But don't be surprised to get PPR direct, skipping IP and DM because we've seen it happen many times before on this forum. Goodluck my friend!

Folks...my file is IP --- mine shows blank as well on two GCMS notes ( 2 months apart). I think it shows blank when officers are waiting for something - like criminal check or medical extension etc.

Also my file location is CIO-MEDS - Is this there Medical dept for extensions? Any idea?

Hi vermanaman I have seen many applicants who are inprocess since September getting the same thing in GCMS notes as file location - CIO MEDS .. Mine is in that location since 29th of jan...

Thats right...mine is around the same date...wonder what it means

Today May 27, 2015 makes it exactly 15 months since my application was submitted to CIC office in Sydney, NS. If I was told my application would take more than a year to process I would strongly disagree and I believe some of you would disagree too if told the same. With 15 months gone, am just one step away from ending this long wait. May God help us all!

Praying with you all. Mine is past 15 months. Reassessment of my dependents' medicals residing in the Philippines were completed 2 weeks ago. Waiting for CIC's confirmation of receipt of e-medical anytime soon.

So i called up CIC today.

My application is almost at 16 months. Good part - The agent told me that the medicals have been extended and received by Visa officer.

The medicals delayed the application by 3 months....However, he said that it may take 3-5 months more from today. His reasoning was that PNP is considered out of canada application and hence they do some checks from home country ( which is weird because I have been living in Canada since I was 18).

Hi All!

Newbie poster here but my application has been IP since September 3rd 2014 and my application was received on February 26th, 2014. I can't believe how long the wait is taking, its 16 months at the end of June for my processing time. I am originally from England so I'm not too sure if that is holding up the process, but my friend who submitted his application in December 2013 was granted his PR in October 2014 (also from England) and another friend of mine submitted hers in June 2014 (from Brazil) and was granted her PR in May of this year.

The wait is very long and tiring, I hope we hear something soon as I am not able to get through to CIC since over 2 months ago where they told me they are waiting on my background check results and they don't need anything else from me and have not yet received my GCMS notes.

I hope good news comes to us all soon!
