1-888-242-2100

it's this number and select option 1 and narrow down the selection after :)

Here is the selection after you dial the no 1131 <The numerics of your application no without the first 2 letters>#1 <4 digits of you DOB>

Hi Diaboluce
How did you do that? Did you ask any specific question? Did you ask directly if your application is approved or not? I have been meaning to do that but wasn't sure if they would be willing to provide the information.
Thanks in advance

Hi guys almost 25 days since DM nothing till now..,
How much more wait for us ?
And applied for work permit extension since 43 days nothing till now as
Well...
I m on implied status i can work with same employer but
What about driving and health card etc?
Do you any idea i can drive on implied status ??
Driving licence expired cant renew it without work permit.

Hey, if you have applied for a Bridge Work Permit but your drivers license is expired you can apply for a new one, they didnt even want to see any kind of paper work for me but I read sometimes they just want to see the confirmation of application/that you transferred the money for your new visa. They then have to contact the minister of transportation for your province and he will decide if you're eligible for a new drivers license. It only took about 2 days for me and then I could go in and get a new one for I think 6 months.

Not sure about the health card but might be same procedure, just go there and ask!
Good luck!!!

Hi PRPRPR

I think I asked them indirectly since I was asking 2 questions to the agent

1) I am not sure when an officer will contact me so I wanted to know approximate time for them to contact me regarding the decision made on my application

2) I want to know if my file is in Ottawa

Then he answered he's not sure when would be the PPR will come but he didn't answer my 2nd question and just told me he can see my application is approved.
So I think they only tell us when the process is actually "finished" (approved or not?)

congrats to those who got ppr! what is happening with cic??? they all put feb and march applicants on dm just to for them.in queue and april applicants are being skipped dm and direct ppr????i just cant understand their timeline....i think feb march applicants are still in nova scotia....its soo frustrating that we've been waiting for a year and we are being overtaken by april applicants because of sydney office being slow!
