February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Hi Guys

Today I called CIC call center and asked regarding my file. He said a decision as been made on your file on January 30 but my file is not clear whether it was approved or not because 2 officers are working closely for Feb & March files and the file is transferred to Ottawa. He added a note to the officer to give a clear statement regarding the file.
He also said if it is approved you will be getting a letter by e-mail & if it is declined you will be getting an letter of refusing.

Thats weird that you got DM 9on Feb 3rd but no one can tell you if its approved or not?! Hang in there buddy!

UCI number or file number?

Yes they do always in fact they will ask ur address,ur email,date of birth year and place

Just called CIC, they were very kind to confirm to that my Decision Made is APPROVED. 31-March applicant.

The lady told that it might take a month or two to get our PPR request or even sooner, but she took time to ensure that my email and stuff were in place

After calling 1-888-242-2100, wait for message which asks to select an option, then press 1311 quickly to reach the part where it asks for your file no. and birth year. The message at times can take forever and if the line is busy, they just drop you off, and you start again.

Just called to CIC, they are checking my background/security, the file is in Ottawa. I am glad I was able to verify that all the additional documents I sent to them in September did successfully reach them! They mentioned that although the posted times on the web-site is 17 months, they are trying to bring it down to 12.

The call gave me the piece of mind, now just waiting, not stressed out

I called CIC agent and she confirmed that our files are still in Sydney, NS. And she can't say whether my file is approved or not as she don't have much access just like all of us. She suggested me that I need to wait one more month to be contacted by CIC officer. :-[ :-[ :-\

The agent told me that my file is still in Sydney and first it need to be transfer to Ottawa in order to go for further processing (PPR).

Agent also told me that my application is approved but still not 100% confirm as it needs further processing. I don't understand what does that mean !!!

My Dear waiting applicants ,

I called the CIC today many times today and got few important hints :- some I guessed
the files ecas : DM is showing are just being pending for the final signature of the Case Pilot ( the head of Ottawa cpc ) without his final signatures they can not send us the passport request.

Right now at cpc ottawa there is a huge back log of pending files to issue PPRs so the normal waiting time to get PPR after DM is 40 to 45 days, ( so more wait )
so my dear friend the fellows who got direct PPR are luckiest one and one who got DM are stucked in the vicious circle of long wait like me .
but seriously my friends I m so tired with this all waiting and just waiting ...
