I asked a consultant about the current timeline for the complete PR process, n he said cic is taking approx 15 months now to complete most application. 2 months back the average time period was 11 months. so looks like we have another 3 to 4 months to go.
I don't trust consultants. I think that's what your consultant told you to let you be patient. Has there been any applicants that got PPR in 15 months?

I really hope the consultant is wrong.
15 month wait is too long. its nearly been 12 months since I applied. so another 3 month wait is a test of my patience.

Good morning Guys,

I have a question. I am PNP (AB) candidate and CIC received my application on Feb 7th 2014.

Currently my ECAS status is showing "In Process" since Oct 6th 2014.

Please correct me if I am wrong!

Based on the posts on this forum I am assuming that most of Jan 2014 applicants have already got their PPRs and now it's our (Feb 2014 applicants) turn to get our PPR.

If that's the case should we hope that we'll get this PPR any time this month or should we keep 3-4 months in our mind to get PPR as some people saying that average processing time is 14-15 months now?

Thanks.

I think you might have good chance to get you PPRs between this month and the next one.

Goodday All,

This morning I received a response to an email I sent to CIC on Nov. 5, 2014 which I requested to know the current status of my application that was received by their (CIC) on Feb. 27, 2014. Below is an excerpt of the reponse from CIC:

Good morning,

Please be advised that your application is currently in the queue for review by an officer. You will be contacted in due course

Thank you,

Citizenship and Immigration

Centralized Intake Office

Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada

I would like to know if anyone in this forum has received similar email from CIC, if yes, and how soon did it take CIC to get back to you based on the reply above.

Thank you as I await to read your response.

Some people here are on OWP (extended) another 3-4 months may be required to reapply for extention..

PCC is mandatory ,, but fingerprints depends whom are being asked only those applicants have to submit ,,

i was being asked for rcmp fingerprints , so i do submitted that ....

whats up guys ,, did any one know that any of applicant got his Ecas changed to DM or any of our fellow members got PPR ,, from any other forums ?

I only check this one so i dont know any updates in the other forums... and no of my other room mates or batch mates got any updates ,,...

it is so depressing now ,,,, i think they gonna take 15 months in full ....as currently they are totally focused on express entry system (28th jan is the date declared for the first batch of draw in EE )...

Yay almost reaching 4months since IP hahaha
I tend to wonder why it's being delayed so much and it is kind of obvious that the number of application just has increased so much more on PNP side since 3rd quarter of 2013
for example, AINP processing time was about 2~4weeks now it's more than 1 year so that explains why we are waiting in such a long que..

And I also think the security issues around the world thesedays would do a part for them to re-consider their security checking system. just to make sure they have right system to prevent the worst...

Hi guys,

Dont know if i have to be happy or be sad, i am happy because finally my ecase have been updated on Jan6th 2015 as in process, but now i am again scared at same time if i have to wait like you guys for more than 4months after i get in process. This has been a long wait for me, i hope we all get a flush of PPV at a time.
