Yay almost reaching 4months since IP hahaha
I tend to wonder why it's being delayed so much and it is kind of obvious that the number of application just has increased so much more on PNP side since 3rd quarter of 2013
for example, AINP processing time was about 2~4weeks now it's more than 1 year so that explains why we are waiting in such a long que..

And I also think the security issues around the world thesedays would do a part for them to re-consider their security checking system. just to make sure they have right system to prevent the worst...

AINP from 2~4weeks to more than 1 year?!?!? Wooooooooooooooow!

I am from BC and we pass from 3 month to 9 month. I thought it was a lot, but Alberta's delay is insane!!!!

I got my BC nomination in 8 weeks so 2 months at the end of 2013. Now the wait I hear is more like 10-13 months.. Insane!

It is been 4 months for me since IP, and for my coworker it is been almost 5 months like most of other users..

Hmmm...I think I'm the only one left in this Feb forum that is yet to get IP. Or is there any other person like me yet to be on IP?

Bro, are you serious? You haven`t got an IP..ugh that's bizzare..
We are in the same time..
Maybe you would get Passport Request without going to IP..lol

I hope so... :) From what I have learnt, people do get PPR even without IP, although its rare, but I hope this will be my case.

Hello delgado77,
I will suggest you to apply for ATIP notes. It will tell you about the status of each module of your application.

Hi ManZZ,
I have actually applied for GCMS notes twice and nothing seems to have changed. The last GCMS notes I received on Dec. 24/2014 shows only medicals passed, the rest are "not started". At one point I was forced to contact my MP to find out if anything is wrong with my file but she got back to me saying all is well and CIC made her understand that if they need anything they will contact me directly. On Nov. 5/2014 I sent an email to CIC requesting the status of my application but I got a response on Jan. 7/2015 stating that my file is currently in the queue for an officer to review it. I only hope that if it gets reviewed PPR will follow next and not IP again.

It also maybe scenario like, you are getting Passport Request then IP, then Decision Made:-) :-) :-) lol.

Fellas....
I don't know if the 2 pieces of information I got today will help cushion the anxiety in the forum:

1) I received my GCMS report today . Generated a month ago. Summary below:
Appl Rec'd: 14 Feb 2014
  • Eligibility: Passed
  • Security: Not Started
  • Criminality: Passed
  • Medical Passed

Have been in IP since 21 Aug 2014. Still looks like my file is still in CIO Sydney (primary office). CPC-O is listed as secondary office (don't know what this means??)

2) I received a call from my local MP office today (who have been very gracious in following up on my application status with CIC). The nice lady told me that everything is almost set. I should expect to hear from CIC at MOST in 2 weeks. And if we don't hear from them, she will call them. She did mention something about CIC looking at files trying to determine if a medical redo is needed. That, according to her is the ONLY thing now holding the completion.

So I can only say.....the next PPR will be HUGE guys barring any medical redo for (expired medicals I guess).
Hang in there fellas and pray very hard.

Guys. January 6, applicant got PPR today! his in another thread. We are the next one! GoodLuck!!

Thanks Ed_nia for sharing this information with us, I can tell you its has rekindled my hope for something big in the coming weeks. Especially the information from your MP that CIC is looking into files trying to determine if a medical redo is needed, I find that information very credible since MPs are the only outsiders that have access to applicant's file with CIC.

when is happy news is coming on ....???
