February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Hi guys! Question for those who applied for an OWP/Bridging. My WP expires May 2015 and Im preparing myself for January. Wondering what did you choose when you applied for an OWP? Here are the options:
- work permit w/ the same employer
- restoration
- initial WP / WP with a new employer
- temporary resident with a new employer

If your PNP nomination is under employer driven, work permit with the same employer so that means its a closed work permit.
However if you are an AINP Alberta Work Experience (AWE- Strategic) nominee, its OWP, you choose work permit under new employer.

I am under the former and I got my OWP.

Who got BOWP recently, how long did it take? I applied in the end of November, and no result yet.

I’m so nervous right now, i applied open work permit on 5 December ( online ) and i attached BC nomination latter (on that letter has my employer name ) and i did not attached the job offer letter. Bro my work permit going to expire next month of 24 jan. Do u think that they will issue me open work permit?
if cic will refuse my open work permit then what should do? pls guide me

Are you sure you will get PPR without RPRF ?

there are applicants who received ppr and rprf at the same time. so i'm hoping that i will receive it together soon..

Just wait for the message from CIC, they will ask you to send additional document for that. Of course they will not refuse it.

Oh I'm sorry my mistake, I mean the latter, which is AWE.

When I applied my OWP last Sept, I got it after 2 weeks.

did you do it online or thru mail? i'll do mine 3rd week of january. still hoping for good news early jan.. finally someone under the AWE stream!
