February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Pleasantly shocked today receiving a reply from CIO-SYDNEY on my email to them since June confirming that they have received and added to my file the PCC and New Schedule A, I had sent to them following their request of me last March.

Lol... that means I can expect reply from them in October on email I sent this month

Still waiting for In process.....RPRF still no reminder.......check every moment to update at ECAS........

All I can conclude is that every Feb applicant's file is still very much in CIO-Sydney office.......even the ones that have turned to IP already.
Though I must confess it was such a "big" relief reading from CIO-Sydney today confirming the reception of my PCC because it would have been a massive stress if they had requested for another one.

I am not so much bothered in getting to IP as I would if I were stock in IP (as I see now some Oct applicants). And that some times makes me wonder if one should really shout "Hurrah" if one's status turns to IP.
But all the same, if IP is a stage in the PR process, then let it happen when it is due to happen. DM for me is the stage that counts most!

My application was received on 28Feb/2014. My medical was done on 8 April. I paid all the fees online and also submitted police clearance with the application. I was wondering what would be the next status I would get to see on my file?

Hi Ed_nia, i was just curious about IP without getting any reminder email, like i mean i paid total fees of cic.
in that case is compulsory that they will send me reminder email and then IP or it would be directly IP?

Hi Patwal,
I don't really know if the procedure of getting a reminder email first before going to IP holds for everyone (especially these days). Because it looks like not all the Feb candidates already in IP were sent this reminder email.
But one thing I know for sure is that if an applicant had any outstanding requirement, CIC will surely send a directed email on whatever is outstanding on the part of the candidate.
