February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

One of my friend whose file was received early in dec has got her PPR this month. Everythig depends on case to case. Best of luck everyone...
My timeine is
File received - 17 jan
AOR and Med - 17 feb.
Medical received In april
PCC Reminder email - 16 may
Sent PPC again- 25 may (Already sent one with my file)
No updates after that
Being optimist for July though

how do u know? Even though December and January applicants didn't get in process!! So how come we feb applicants get in process first then them. i think we will be in process in middle of August.

Bro you are absolutely right, before exactly i was thinking like you but if you counts a month of Dec and Nov and Jan applicants they all passed 5 to 6 months then why they are not in process yet? That's a Q i was taking about bro....

HI guys,
To add to this discussion, I think in general it takes about 6-7 months for your status on ECAS to change to IP from the date of application received by CIC. i.e. if you applied in November 1st, technically your status should change to IP on June 1st or later. However, if they require extra document from you then they ask for that and you kind of fall out of this regular processing loop so it adds to your processing time. (if you wondering how long processing time is added, i think it depends on processing team). So Feb 1st applicant should get IP on September 1st or a bit earlier. I think July is a bit too hopeful and August is more realistic. However, it all depends on individual application and the processing time could be different accordingly and as a result if your application is complete and they dont need anything from you and you are lucky enough, then July could be your month. I like to be realistically hopeful so i am aiming for August. Although if it happens in July it would be a more welcomed good news ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Guys got our application back to us from CIO. we've sent our application to them last feb12,2014 they received it feb.19,2014. They just send it back to us yesterday due to some minor problem. Need to send copy of passport and pictures of my NON-accompanying dependents. The deadline to pass our application to CIO was may 30,2014. Now they are requesting us to get Approval Letter Extension to Manitoba. They should have snet it back to us before the deadline. Now, our problem is how to get that Approval letter extension. Need help

This is kinda strange!
Did you ever receive the AOR letter and MR from CIO Sydney after they received your application?
Did you get any form of communication what so ever since your application reached in Feb?
The sort of scenario you are painting normally happens within the first 30 days CIO receives one's application.

Guys! it all depends on individual case. Like i would share some factors like travelling info, number of dependants. The more long the travelling history is the greater time it takes and even if you are single inland applicant or not.
Secondly provincial nominees certificates from most provinces are usually not given in december and january except for some provinces they do give. This is the reason you may have observed that from december to feb the timeframe to receive AOR has gone to one month or even less.
So end of july and start of august is the time of feb applicants what i am expecting.
And u still cannot say much as to which month cic is currently processing applicatons as there would be many december and january applicants who would not even be following this forum and posting their updates.

hi Guys i am new on this forum. i have few questions, i got my LOA letter nd i sent PNP application last week. in the LOA letter there is green sticker. which i completely forgot to stick on my application envelope. coz its says u have to stick on the envelope. can it b a problem nd how long the whole procedure can take if i m not wrong 5-6 months ? any help will be appricicated ;D

To answer ur question, when you are reading a post and want to reply and quote that particular post, look on the right & top of that particular post. You will see a button called "quote". Am still down with my July week 3 expectations for Feb Applicants. Of course it will not happen for everyone of us but definitely some of us will make a leap to IP - and that's what counts. Just believe!
