Landed on 8th January 2015 at Toronto airport.

I too applied on Feb 2014. Updated marital status in the month of august 2014 and completed the Medicals and RPRF also. Now I am waiting for the CIC for next step. But I am afraid/bit worried as I did not hear anything from 3 weeks.

Does anyone is in same situation?

Not to worry. As per current timeline CPC-O is issuing PPR in 1-2 months of time frame.

I don't know how CIC is working I paid upfront RPRF on 19 Jan and today my status changed to In Process. Also a line got added "We started processing your application on January 20, 2015."
I am guessing they were waiting for RPRF fee. Thanks to all people who advised me to pay upfront RPRF fee.

Dont worry Nitin, they dont ask you for RPRF again. If you have paid online then just make sure that you sent the scanned copy of payment to cost center.
And congratulation you will be on next step very soon as your status changed recently. Means your file is ready to complete. Be cool now you will be getting MR/PPR soon for sure.

I don't think This may be reason for changing your status in ECAS.
There are cases (confirmed form GCMS notes) where applicant passed all the criteria , But still no further action form CIC end

Anyway it depend on case to case .
Happy that you moved one step more closer for PR

That line suggests that they started working on your security assessment. Once you Pass it you will receive PPR.

Yes, he gave us a copy of everything. He said that sometimes that happens, that's why we didn't care too much about it, but has been almost half year since we did the medicals so we are worried.

We will send the email and lets see whats happen.

Sent the copy of medicals last Sunday, and today my Ecas got updated to "in process" and they started to processing my application on January 19, 2015 and medical results have been received.

Should I pay RPRF upfront or just wait for the email?

I have just received a communication asking for other documents (police certificate, ...). I am just puzzled about this sentence:

Please note:
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. When attaching your document(s), please ensure that they are smaller than 5MB and that each document is attached individually.

What does it mean that notarised documents are not accepted? Does it mean that I can translate them myself without authentication from the Canadian embassy?
