It's all gonna be this week. 8) ;) If you look at the sheet, you'll find some trend - they are very active with our apps in the end of each month

Most of March applicants got PPR in a day or 2 when it was set to In Process. ECAS changed to DM only couple of days after PPR in most cases. But as you see in my example or many others in forum, ecas is not so reliable.

So we have to chill n let CIC do the process 8)

Hi guys who got PPRs. ;) There is a question for you. Does CIC change an ECas status to "In-Progress" or "Decision Made" prior to issuing a request.
I just wonder about the trend. It seems to me the majority of those who got PPR has an updated status too. Mine still shows "Application Received". Do I need to look at the system to wait for the change first?

An interesting point is that CIC may stay quiet for some time and then it comes back with a number of updates for a bunch of applicants at a time (# that happened with RPRFs). Looks like they don't update until they collect a number of people ready to be moved to the next step or there are some specific dates (i.e. Mondays are for Medicals, Fridays are for RPRFs, November 25th is for PPRs) :)

I mean if you analyze sheets of March, Feb, Jan 2013 and other candidates, you'll find out they update pretty much on the same dates

Ya hopefully :) I checked Trackkit, I see a lot of PPR's were sent out on Oct 23, 24 and again on Oct 27. Hopefully we all get it today.

I dont know what is worse - In Process since Nov 14 or application received with a line that just says "Medical Results Received".

This too shall pass very soon for everyone of us as CIC Santa's Christmas Gift ;D ;D

Fingers crossed :) From my point of view "In-Process" (even since Nov 14) looks better. It means they have done with your eligibility check and testing you secutiry and criminality stuff. My meds were issued after they put Eligibility "Recommend Passed". Still have no idea whats the difference between Passed and Recommend Passed. Time to order new notes :)

hi guys
This is a kind of question for everyone. one of my friend's friend got refusal from CEC and reason I heard is that she wasn't having enough experience as she filled right after she completed her one year as a skilled worker in Canada. So I My question is when we can apply for CEC and how much truth behind what I heard about her refusal??? is that Possible Huh?? that some one can get refusal from Canadian experience class after she applied for it after completing ONE year as mention on CIC website. Can someone please throw some light on this PLEASE
TAHNKS :o :o :o :o :o

My eligibility is Recommend passed since 14 Aug don't know what they are doing. Just received new GCMS notes. No update since 14 Aug, just the acknowledgement of the email I sent for my medicals and change of employer.

Is it also said "Meets all requirements" in the VO's notes?? Well... finally it might be "Recommend Passed" means "Passed", and right now they are working on your security check. Any updates in GCMS notes for security and criminality??

You need to complete 52 weeks to be eligible to apply. This is what cic states. One of the reasons one can get a rejection is when he works part-time or is off for a significant period of time. I have not heard about any rejections after completing 52 weeks (at least 30 hrs working week). Would appreciate experience and thoughts from other guys.

You are so right...I got my PPR today. Good Luck everyone, hang in there your turn will come soon :) :)

may be more info needed to analyze. if the start date and end date entered is more than one year and hours are 35+ (or whatever qualified mentioned by CIC) then it should be fine.Other factors such as extended leave of more than stipulated allow also one of reason so cannot comment unless more info. But one year completed in all valid manner you can apply.
