Hello to everyone,

I am a February 2014 applicant and I am waiting for MR (AOR received March 7th). I need to renew my work permit + visa and as I work with children I am requested to do a medical exam now. My work permit expires on October 22nd so I still have time, but would like to know your opinion whether I do the medical exam now (for the work permit) or to wait until I get the MR for the CEC application. If I do them now for the work permit, would them be valid for the CEC application?

Yes it would be valid I guess , but its upto CIC , sometimes they request in your case , sometimes don't .

MR is valid for 1 Year , So It's Highly possible CIC will not ask for MR again

Did cic requested you to do medicals in may itself only
or else
you did upfront medicals..

no they send me an email saying that they received my application..... and another email with medical forms asking me to do the medical and the Doctor will send the result over to them. my time line is
application received : march 31th
medical requested : may 12th
e-case shows medical have been received : may 31th
and im still waiting
after making some research here i found out that the oct 2013 applicants received their pass request this month, and some of them got their visa this month august, so thats mean that they almost finished a year waiting

Are you sure you applied under Canada experience class? Your case looks like AINP

this is CEC forum, CEC does not fall under Quebec immigration programs. can you please stop misleading people.

I am sorry but the Quebec skill class is totally different from Canadian Experience Class.
