I don't get it; CIC seems to be not in a mood to work at all this summer

It's been more than three weeks since last PPR and RPRF batch was sent out.

Do CIC call employer all the time ?
Applicant of 24 Feb 2014 got such request but not those applicant who applied before Feb 24.
I applied on 3rd Feb AOR on 2nd March.
Guys what could it be?
Is it the time for me to request GCMS?
Provide your suggestions.

2. After successful entry into the form, you will be redirected to a page. Please click on the "Edit your response"

3. Now you will redirected to another page, where you will find all your current entry in a from. For change or add entry in future either bookmark the page or copy and save the address from the address bar.

4. If you have your edit link, just open it and update your informationIf you forgot to save "Edit your response" link, please resubmit and save it for future update. You old duplicate entry will be removed.

I applied for my PR under CEC in Jan 2014 and received my File Number in Feb. I still have not received my Medical Request yet. The status on CEC website still shows "Application received." Can someone please guide me how long is it taking now to get the medicals. I am waiting for it badly.

Please advise.

So far none of the Feb 2014 applicants got MR, CIC process was dramatically slowed for the last 3 weeks, we should be seeing MR for Feb 2014 applicants early September.

So far none of the Feb 2014 applicants got MR, CIC process was dramatically slowed for the last 3 weeks, we should be seeing MR for Feb 2014 applicants early September.

I think CIC is working on CEC files as per routine pace in office and I believe they are doing some kind of upgrades in their online systems or may be servers. It's been almost three weeks now since PPR, RPRF and MR batch were sent out. Even though those who sent their passports for visa stamping are still waiting for the activation return tracker.

Just wanted to update you guys that i received a request for police certificates today.

I did not include them in my application and knew that they would request for it - which is fine.

So now you guys can be rest assured that the process is indeed going forward since so many of you were worried that it had stalled

Application Received on 26th Feb
AOR 21 March
MR - 15 Aug
