We had this situation recently. I had to send the whole package to a friend in the UK in one of the professions (Teacher) and she endorsed the photo and posted the package for me.

Guys..

Seems like I'm stuck in applying the PCC from UK. In UK PCC form it is mentioned to endorse the photograph who has known you for a minimum of 2 years, but I have been in Canada for last 1.5 yrs. Also, mentioned that the endorse person can get any calls from UK Police to verify.

Can anyone share the experience with the same scenario or do we really need to get the photograph endorsed?

When should we be able to see our status on ECAS? I just get the page that says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:" etc etc.

I just spoke to CIC call centre representative lady. She told me to do not send any additional supporting documents until you ask to do so.. Please advise what should I do now?

Aleast 3-4 days after you receive AOR.

Call again and ask them you forgot to disclose some information and you would like to update it. I would say talk to another 2 representative and see what they have to say about this. I was having same issue before I applied. 1st rep gave me negative opinion, when I called again he had same opinion as mine and 3rd rep. told me that he was not sure but he later confirmed with other officer/supervisor and told me same thing what 2nd rep told me. Sometime CIC rep. tells you something are not very useful.

I called again and this time the another lady told me It is normal applicants forget to mention some important details. And CIO returned their applications but since you got AOR that means your application found complete. It is advisable to send as many as documents to fill the gap so, you should email cpc with all supporting docs and complete info. She also told me to do not panic just send email and you will be good.

See, totally different opinion. Call CIC again and tell them that two of you rep. gave me different answers. Can you please verify with your supervisor and give me an appropriate answer.
