Dear Rose. I am very happy for you that you landed hassle free and are now reunited with your husband..Rose13 said:Congs Tom & Family, so happy for you that soon you will get done with this nagging waiting process. At least you can now get some good sleep with no worries and plan better for the future of your family in canada.
I too landed peacefully in Calgary, the immigration staff were so welcomingwelcoming
& the whole process took me less than 30minutes. I later had to take a connection flight to Edmonton where I found my lovely hmubby waiting for me. It was a memorable moment to be reunited. I got my SIN today & have registered for Alberta health scheme as well. Soon to start looking for a job, may be next week.
You are definitely right in saying that I can now sleep at nights without worries..Finally!
How long after landing are you eligible for Alberta health insurance? From I known Alberta is the only provice where you do not have to wait 3 months for coverage.. Is that true? I am very concerned because I will have a wife and a new baby with us and I want them to be secured from any health issues might the appear...
Best regards my dear
Tom
