Congratulations to all members who have got their visas this month. October seems to be bring in good luck to most people and i pray that i also get to receive good news very soon. Am not sure if my visa office (Nairobi) has re-opened after the terrorist attack. When they cancelled my interview on 27th Sept, they told me that another date will be fixed in October and this has kept us (me & my husband) waiting until........ Anyone who knows what's happening in Nairobi please!!

I am so happy for all you guys!! I am from Lima, Peru and don't understand much how it works since i couldn't see as much change online as you guys posting here in this forum..the only thing we know is that my husband sponsored us (me and my son) on january 2013 (in missisauga). On february 2013 he was approved as a sponsorship and checking online it says he will receive a kit with instructions (which he didn't) and they said online that papers asking me for permanent resident was received also as same as medicals (i am not sure if it says they receive it in missisauga or in lima)..so since february nothing changed! Wondering where i can get information or i should just be a lil bit more patient and wait for "THE" call since timeline in Peru is 13 months i am glad most of you already are able to be with your better half and start a path together! Good look and congrats

Just an FYI... Tom (AKA Messenger's) wife gave birth to their beautiful baby girl last week. Probably the reason for his absence on this board.
He had posted pics on Facebook and she is gorgeous.

Congrats to all those who got their COPR. My husband will have been here a month on the 14th of October and just loves it here. Doesn't hurt that we are having a spectacular fall season! He has been offerred two jobs so has to choose between those now. Life is great, kids are happy to see their dad and I'm happy to have my family reunited.

Hey everyone,

Just checked our ECAS and it now states that our Medicals have been received. We applied back in February and just found this out today. It's been forever since our last update (we still haven't received an official AOR from the VO that our file is in Mexico, but our MP told us it arrived on May 3 when we inquired with them), so I guess things really do take awhile.

Hang in there if you haven't heard anything, seems like the news comes when you least expect it. Hmm maybe they are starting to work on our file from the VO...

Mother and baby are doing fine, and she is my little treasure and a feature Canadian. (she is getting her citizenship through me) Her name is Leto-Maria (Leto was the mother of Apollo and Artemis from our ancient Greek culture!)

Skas13 I have been following your happiness in FB and now you guys are a complete family once again and Junayd loves it there. He is a very lucky man to have such a loving family.

As for our app progress nothing doing so far. Vienna has proved that is the slowest of all VO's. Although it was never on strike it has not given a single COPR or any other notice to any applicant since December 2012. A few months ago it's processing time was 9 months and now is 12 months but with no change in the attitude. Let's see if now they can wake up from their deep sleep!

BTW. Is there anyone here in February thread willing to take over being admin for our spreadsheet? I don't have a major problem administering it but now with the newborn, time seems more precious to me! If someone's interested please give me a shout!
