I hope Feb ones start rolling by Friday! Yipee!

Guys my application got returned today. I got a letter saying that my application is not accompanied by the original results of the English IELTS proficiency assessment which is the biggest BS I have heard since I attached the original IELTS test score and the returned documents includes my original IELTS test results.

Apparently they didn't not accept my birth certificate from the Hospital I was born in because they want a Government issued Birth Certificate which simply doesn't back in the day when I was born in 1984.

Now the weird thing is initially when my PR got rejected it was because of my full time courses, this time my documents never even made it to CPP-Ottawa.. now If I send them again will it take another month to get an AOR?

Sorry to hear. BC issued by the Hospital is definitely not acceptable. With regards to IELTS, seems weird. There should be a catch. If you have submitted your original IELTS score card and if it meets the requirement, there is no chance of a refusal on those lines.

Did you take the IELTS GT module and score the required CLB level (since there is a change in the required CLB level wef 2 Jan 2013)?

Yea I sent my original Ielts test score that I gave at Conestoga College. I got an 8.5 overall under the General Training test.

Does anyone know any place that does Notarized Translations for Identity cards?

You said that letter was referring to IELTS score card but how can you say that they have not accepted your DOB? Was it also included in the letter?

Is not notarizing of ID cards the reason for rejection ?
