i think we missunderstood... i think my lawyer already got an approval.. i am waiting an letter that notices me when i should go to vienna for an interview and bring my passport...

Well I was hoping to hear something today for Feb 28 and 29th apps but I am guessing we only seem to hear things on Thursdays so it looks like it will be next week for us guys! Have a good weekend. Keep the faith everyone, we all need something to cling to!

I was thinking the exact same thing......!!!! I am afraid to get excited but it is hard not to after such a flurry of activity yesterday!!!

Absolutely nothing at this point!!!!!! So we can enjoy our weekend and be positive and wait for Thursday to come!!!! ;D

Yes it does.

To the others, approvals are not just on Thursdays. I got mine on Wednesday. I have seen approvals on Friday. So you don't have to wait.

Well I am thinking CIC is probably exhausted after a day's work yesterday and won't see much happening till next week!!!! I am content to wait till next Thursday but after that......

I'm happy for everyone that has gotten their approval but I had really been hoping that we would have been in the first wave of approval I had high hopes that I would have gotten approval for my birthday last month but not so much... and then I was thinking we might get it for our anniversary but that was last Sunday and so far nothing I guess the next big one is m husband's birthday on the 21st but I'm really not going to hold my breath for it.... I'm starting to wonder if I should just be happy if we get sponsorship approval by Christmas ??? And to think that I was thinking that we would be able to be all moved back to Canada and set up before my oldest starts school in the fall.... oh how young and trusting I was of CIC at the start of this year....

Yes I hear you. I really thought I would have my approval in 8 weeks or less and that the long wait would be Havana. Oh how wrong I was!!!! Well my husband's birthday is on the 17th and I would truly like to give that him as a birthday present...it would be really nice if it was an early present .

We are sitting in a similar boat. I was so hopefull! When we sent our app. away it was only 55 days approval time and then off to Berlin. Now it's well over 90 days, they closed Berlin, and my oldest son starts school in Sept. in Canada. And that leaves me with no choice but to move to Canada in August with my two small kids and start up our life there alone. Leaving my wife is hard enough, but having to take my kids away from their mother is a horrible feeling. She is the main bread winner and has to work, she can't just leave her job and sit around in Canada waiting for CIC to get their act together. My wife and I are so frustrated about this we both could and have cried about it.
