I have added those of you so far who have requested to the spreadsheet! Now all we have to do is stare at it for a few months and hopefully stuff will start happening.

Thanks for adding me but the time line for me is application sent 13/02/2012 and application received 14/02/2012. You can make the correction

I wasn't able to track my package on USPS.com and I read that flat rate envelopes could not be tracked. I was really stressed not knowing when or if it arrived. But today a little voice in my ear said to call USPS and I did and the automatic system was able to track my package! I know that it arrived February 21 for sure and I am SO happy just knowing that! They also said I could track my package on Canada Post's website for the local info. Small victory for me today.

Can you update the spreadsheet please? I had estimated it as February 20.

Thank you. I am also hoping they update the numbers today or tomorrow. Last week it was Thursday although they back dated it.

I think people aren't getting notification even though they are approved because the computer system is a mess. That is my opinion anyway. I really hope that are also into February when they update.

Someone from Jan. applicants called and the agent said if you have an email that they notify by emails all applicants! I am not sure if that is another silly excuse to say the email was not right or bounced back or.... Besides this new thing of sending email notification is not true obvious none of late Jan applicant nor us received a thing.

I think we all are going crazy!If January applicants are not receiving anything and we are mid-february to beginning of march it scares me on how long we will have to wait for our sponsorships to be approved! I'm crossing my fingers that this week it will be updated who knows maybe they had problems with only the January batch?!? Here's for wishful thinking !

hmmm January batch is not from Mars most cases should b routine cases for them!! the thing is their processing times went up and up since last summer (it even reached 80+ days at some point)...so everything got accumulated month after month; the december people were lucky because probably there were less who applied, the Holidays and so on!! on top of that there r new requirements for the sponsor just put in place so that adds to the waiting cuz it applies to everyone who was not approved yet, so maybe they went back and double checked everyone again....also some people filled in old forms some new (they keep changing those every month!!!) and that affects - cuz the ones with the old require more time to be processed and the ones after him/her will wait in line more....so it's really a lot of factors, all this gets harder and more complicated by day....it's good at least we'll b in their system soon and the ball started to roll (somehow : )...and yeah luck will have an impact for some

yeah i know the feeling!!!!! before applying it was like 73 days i was thinking OMG poor people!!!! after we applied it started to decrease and decrease it even reached 48 days and i was thinking OMG we r soo lucky....perfect timing LOL i guess my lesson is never think too much in advance or make high hopes... and first wait for your turn to come and then draw the conclusion

I am bummed they didn't update today. Even if they had said 70 days and Jan 15 I would be ok with that because I just want some accurate real info!

I know what you all mean!! I feel like it is a sad little circuit I do every time I get on the computer... e-mail, cic, cic french... I just want an update!! There's a part of me that thinks that either I should get a job at CIC once I have moved back up to Canada or that at least all the people running the show there should have to have lived through the immigration process so that they will start to give a crap about all of us waiting in limbo! I'm pretty sure all of us could come up with a process that would be way faster and better than anything they have now! yep... I think that that would be way better than any petition we could come up with... and in a round about way they would be giving us our fees back...lol ;D
