Very interesting, same for me

I have passed the due date already and my GCMS were order months after it!

I have also noticed all the notes (last section) are just stating facts and info none is reallya comment or note!

Yup, same for me. I was hoping for those notes on the relationship eligibility that everyone was talking about in their notes. But nope, not in ours. Nothing yet!

My husband got his visa on October 4th.....we had interview in the morning and visa by 2pm!!!!!! yippee yahoo.....now just for the cuban government to release him!!!! but he should be here by mid-November!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I've been following your story for quite a while thank god you finally made it. My husbands interview is Oct 16th, any tips you can give us? How long did it last and what did they ask? We're very nervous..

For the interview just make sure your husband always looks them in the eye when answering and to take his time answering the questions....they did not ask my husband anything hard but they want details....so just take a minute and answer.....his interview was 1.5 hours!!!

And did they ask to see extra evidence like pictures, etc..? is there only one officer asking the quesions or more? Anyways sorry for asking so many questions, i just want this to be over and done with and have my husband here with me!!

Does CPP-Ottawa conduct eligibility of the principle applicant? Or is it done by the Visa office? In other words, which of these assessment is done by Ottawa and which is done by the American visa offices

TVG the questions were very consistent with the ones posted on the forum and in fact we used the one from august 12 posting to go over. There was nothing provcative in the questions what so ever....they asked a couple of times about our first meeting but that was because it was another cuban who introduced us......yes they did ask for more evidence so we supplied emails, texts, phone bills, pictures and some plane tickets for my last two visits.

I am not sure how it is in other emabassies but in the embassy in cuba it is a small room.....3 white walls with a telephone on the wall....a chair...then a glass partition and the interviewer sits on the other side.....there was only one interviewer she was a woman....my husband did not use the phone said it felt criminal like so they just talked through the glass......she did hold up some pictures and asked who some people where etc.

Our eCAS changed to "Decision Made" directly from "Application Received". There was no "in process". But in my opinion eCAS doesn't show the real time actions spending on the immigration applications.

When they changed the processing times from 6 months to 16 months, I was worried. But it didn't affect us. They completed everything around 15-16 weeks after sponsor's approval. I could also say Ankara is one of the fastest V.O for spousal sponsorhip files. But every case is unique and different than others. There are too many factors make the difference, such as different nationalities, backgorund checks, medical issues, previous visa refusals, type of the relationship, proof of the relationship, eligibility of sponsor and sponsored persons etc etc..

Well, I can't begin to explain how much I hope this is true. When I saw the updated numbers on August 20th, I almost cried. My husband and I thought a lot about how a VO's processing time can increase ~2.5 times. Even with all of the files transferred from Damascus. Plus, not enough cases were processed to account for accurate statistics yet. I think they finished the transfers in Feb or March.

So, yes. It was 5 months when we submitted our application in May, then they announced 6 months in June. The big shock came in August : a whopping 15 months. I can't imagine us living apart for that long. We've already done that for 2 years so far!

Hi Everyone!! So I just spoke with my MP and asked him to inquire about my case. He told me that the only thing that is hold me up is my medical which I already knew from the LA office. He said that it's nothing to do with my case in particular but rather that they are just busy. I told him that people that have filed after me have been getting their PPR and he told me I shouldnt look at that since every case is different and people arent honest about their timelines (ummm why wouldn't people be honest?).

This is so frustrating since its not like its just one person that has gotten their PPR its a bunch from march and even april and I am from Feb!!! I am very happy for everyone getting their PPR so dont misunderstand this post I am just trying to get to the bottom of my case and it seems like there is something with my medicals thats holding me up. Is anyone else from Feb in the same boat? I have the most simple case. Now he told me I may have to redo my medicals unless he can ask them to extend the medicals.

you are not alone at least your MP inquired...mine refused since it is within 80% of processing time!
