I thought it was immediate. How would you know the issue date?

Our PPR date was issued the same day we got the email. Why would it be different?

I've seen some PPR issue dates a week late, I guess who ever sent it forget to hit the send button on the email lol

And, I am one of those lucky ones... Letter dated June 17, 2012 but the PPR email received on July 06, 2012.

Hello my wife application was received Feb 25th and now it was switched to processing on July 26th. What does that mean. Does that mean she will be coming here soon ? what is the time limit usually ? She lives in Ukraine

First, a question. Does receipt mean when it ARRIVES at the VO? Or when they mail the passport w/ visa in it? I will edit my post after the answer.

Both will show in process, DM and meds received. Only file number will show the Canadian address at the end.

File number is better.

The File number's suppose to show the Canadian address?? his file number shows his current home adress in his country not his soon to be canadian one here! is that wrong? are you an in-land or out-land applicant?? ...now I'm worried

It will show the Canadian address when they are issuing the visa. So when you see it, you can jump for joy. But it is ok if you do not see it now. You should just see his mailing address. I am outland.

We haven't received AOR from our VO either.

What's sad is that applicants that applied 2 weeks after us (to Manila VO) already got their visas. Too unfair.

Hi all,

I m really depressed with the speed of my visa work going on....My application was received on 3-Feb-2012,We got our sponsorship approval on 23-April-2012 but due to some reasons we did not get the mail in time,after requesting them many times we finally got that mail on 23-May-2012.I got my Passport request on 7-May-2012 and it was received on 16-May 2012.My husband is in Quebec so he also got his CSQ which they said they'l directly send to New Delhi visa office...Now after this i have not heard from them...My application status is showing Application Received...not even in process....wat to do... :'(
