Thanks cg78... :D

However I don't think they will bother since to them it will be a timeline "e"nquiry.
I still can't let go of how unfair this entire business is.

People who had their app received 2 weeks AFTER they received mine already got a PPR 1 and a half month ago.
It is very clear that their claim the 2nd stage "allegedly" got locked when our app reached New Delhi is a lie. If that was the case, she'd receive her PPR the moment her app touched Manila since that's already 5 weeks into the process. And it doesn't take 5 weeks for a PPR to be issued. Maybe 2 let's say max 3 weeks.

And that is what you should say in the enquiry! How long has it been since they physically got your file in Manila?

You'll see in process, decision made and a Canadian address for the PA will show up.

canadiangirl78, will this show under the client ID number or the immigration file number. I guess it would show under the immigration file number.. because only the sponsorship related information shows under client ID. The reason I'm asking is that my Client ID never worked only my husband's immigration number.

Sorry for rambling on..

Both will show in process, DM and meds received. Only file number will show the Canadian address at the end.

File number is better.

Ecas now shows "Decision Made" for my wife's PR application. It went straight to "Decision Made" from "Application Received".

Ecas is showing 'in process' for me now, they started processing on 26 July it says. I'm really pleased.

But still no mention of medical results, which is unsettling. I just want to know that the medical furtherance is sorted out and I don't need to do anything more.

Some people never see meds received so don't stress too much. In process is awesome!

Congrats!!

Taking bets!

Come one, come all! Play for votes!

The game rules are like this:

As you may have noticed, a PPR is received later than it is issued. So you will be giving me TWO (2) DATES!

Yes, that's right! TWO (2) DATES, ladies and gentleman!

Tonight! We have the greatest game in history RIGHT HERE in your living room or wherever you have your computer/laptop/mobile device, etc.!

Please reply with your guess of PPR issue and PPR receipt! The winners will get a VOTE UP! And of course, most importantly, the ability to brag they got it right and figured out that intense mess CIC is involved in!

So yes, LADIES and GENTLEMEN (you better be gentle), reply with the following template filled in!

-
PPR issue: <date>
PPR receipt: <date>
-

Very simple! COME ONE COME ALL!!!

First, a question. Does receipt mean when it ARRIVES at the VO? Or when they mail the passport w/ visa in it? I will edit my post after the answer.

PPR issue: August 7
PPR receipt: December 22 (JK but with your luck...)

PPR issue: August 7
PPR receipt: August

Issue means the date they say "OK we'll send her a PPR"
Receipt means the date she will actually get it in the mail/e-mail.

Here's an example:

The New Delhi PPR was issued June 12, but she only received it in her e-mail June 18. So that was a 6-day difference between issue/receipt.

I thought it was immediate. How would you know the issue date?
