Dorsiana, mine updated to have "medical results received" over 2 months ago and then we recieved the AOR a little after that and now nothing. I hope it means our file is being processed quickly!

i think we have different processing steps by our visa offices because i received my aor/ppr last month and just have the update on my medical yesterday.. hopefully i'll have in process or decision made next! lol! but you're right, it only mean that they are processing our applications quickly! gooduck to us girl!

Yaayyy!! Awesome awesome news for us Doris! I know, were getting there sooo excited just by the "in process" alone status, how much more if it is a DM? Soo happy v.o's are doing great job for february applicants

A quick update of my wife application status;
She received a e-mail from the Guatemala embassy on May26, with an attachment marked in the box for: passport (after the meds are done, but she sent meds, done on Jan2011, with the application), also for the original of Divorce Decree from sponsor. I was visiting her at the time of the e-mail, we didn't expect anything too soon, for this reason we didn't check for e-mails or ecas updates. we sent passport and documents on Jun7. ecas do not updated, still on we received an application on March14.

Great news, my husband got his PPR June 2nd. He got his Visa June 7th and will land when he finds a job in Toronto. Hopefully, soon.

I posted this on the Buffalo thread but I thought I would post it here too since I sent my application in Feb.

Our e-CAS changed today. Now when I log in under my info, it shows the sponsored person's (my husband) PR status as "In Process"

When I click on "In Process" it says;

"We received *name* application for permanent residence on April 7, 2011.

We started processing *name* application on June 10, 2011.

Medical results have been received."

However, when I try to log in using my husband's info, nothing comes up yet.
We just moved and the reason I was logging in was to change our address which I can't do because we still don't have a file number. So now I am nervous that they mailed something that won't ever get to us. Does anyone know if they are emailing instead of mailing due to the postal strike? We have not received any emails as of yet. I did send Buffalo an email today to notify them of the change of address but I have seen on different posts that they don't always get updated in a timely manner.

I don't really understand what is going at Buffalo bcos is like they have neglect certain December, January & February Applicant then jump to March!! Hmmmm I'm confused right now bcos the silence is too much...Ecas only shows Application was received at buffalo on XXXXXX date but nothing else till now..

This is very Unreal maybe im just been silly!! lol

No you're not being silly Eddy.

There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to how it goes which is frustrating. I feel guilty that ours says it is in process before others who applied before us but at the same time I know that it does not mean we will get a PPR any time soon. I have seen other posts which state that the e-CAS was never updated and then they all of sudden got a PPR so who really knows????
