None has a clue ? :(

Mine shows that too.... "null" just before my husbands name, I personally think that it could be because he's got no "surname" as per his passport. Coz the ppl made who issued him the passport made a mistake and wrote his last name with his given name lol. So that could be the issue.......otherwise not to worry abt it....or else it could be jus a silly error from their end.

Thanks Dorisiana!!

Hi Dorisiana..no news for me either yet but what a champion you are!! You're doing all of this work to keep us all updated. If they had an icon for flowers, i'd send it on :D

I cant believe this, according to the table of successful candidate i saw, are you telling me the whole process can be done within 1 month ? this is ridiculous... i was thinking the whole process takes up to 16 month... hope to hear from you all.

i believe it depends on the Visa Office your application will be forwarded to.. they have different processing times.. may i ask what visa office you are going through?

I don't think anyone is having the whole process done in 1 month. What you're seeing is the sponsorship approval (Step 1), sending of all documents to the Requesting Country's Visa Office is being done in 30-45 days. Some Visa Offices like the one in New Delhi even ask for the passport early. But I don't think anyone in this thread is done yet and it's been more like 45-60 days since they started.

However, the guidelines on the CIC site about how long it takes to process are average times and are not necessarily accurate. For the Philippines it says 9 Months average, but I know several people who have gone through the process and it took 4 months. So I will stay positive and hope for 4 months :)

Thanks for the table Ate Doris ;D

Don't worry this is just a computer error, it will be corrected soon, it happens from time to time, 'null' in computer language means blank, just data entry error, they are probbaly working on your file :)

Hi Dorisiana,
Thanks for all your work on a beautiful table!

So some good news this morning!
My husband just got his letter on April 4, 2011 from New Delhi.
The letter is dated March 22, 2011.
It asks for his PR fee which is already paid.
It asks for police clearance from other countries if more than 6 months, which he does not need.
And finally for his passports, which he only has one.
The letter says to send it by secure mail.
I think to the address listed on the bottom: Immigration section.

Does anyone know if it is worth it to send a pre-paid Fedex envelope along with the passport?

Note that this information is not on e-cas.

I sent it through Blue dart and it was fine. Not sure about fedex. All is well as long as you can track it :)

Hi Vegan, I assume your husband lives in India? So they sent this letter to him at his address there, right? Kind of strange they asked for things you included in the package already. Or had you not included the police clearance + PR fee receipt?
