I've tried everything to get into ecas without any sucess. I've used receipt number, client number, the file number starting with F. Has this happened to anybody else? Also, does anybody know what KIT ID is? Thanks.

You could look at signing up to the e-CAS tracker, it will try as many combinations as it can, you don't have to do anything but wait.

As far as I know you can login with the CLIENT ID you received, and it will have all the updates.

You just use the CLIENT ID or RECEIPT ID to see the status on eCAS, also from what I have heard File ID gives you same results.

My file was transferred on the same day as yours. Will the eCAS for Sponsor be updated with FILE RECEIVED. I don't have a client ID for her.

Or If I log on with receipt number, then I would be able to see the FILE RECEIVED status in e-CAS.

But in 2AOR it is clearly written that if i am unsucessful then my fee will be returned. Now a days my estatus is showing "Inprocess ". The things wrote in side, it is out of my understanding. Detailis as under:

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 2010.
Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office.
They are pending review. A decision has been made on your application.
The office will contact you concerning this decision. We transferred your application to the London England office on July , 2010. "

I also have the same situation like you, they returned my kit like a month ago, now i resubmitted on monday april 07
So I can also hope that they will start working on it within a week asthey did for u?
I heard from someone that if they return ur whole application you have to wait another 37 days
is this true?

No what I have seen happening is they send you special stickers / number that you put on top of the re-submitted kit, and that will put you back in the express lane.

finally! my husband checked e-cas (though I can't get in using this laptop, well atleast one of us has the good news! ;D) and it says DECISION MADE! wohooo! at last i will be blue! will update our list later feb people! ;D ;D ;D

hey, i have question, though it says decision made, it doesn't tel what the decision is.. is that normal? i thought some can see that they are approved and telling them to wait for the mail.. and how many days or weeks till the mail come to my husband in edmonton? he's really excited but scared about what the decision will be...

Yeah it didn't say what the decision is...which sucks...cause it is more waiting and anticipation.
It took about 6 days for the letter to reach me. So he should receive it within a week from the date they processed your application. I wish you the best!!!

Are you using your information or your spouses information?

B/c in the beginning I could only log in with my info as the sponsor.
