meateater, have you tried calling the call centre? maybe its some technical issue that they maybe able to help you with or maybe they can tell you why this is happening. In any case I don't see any reason for concern. stay positive!

Ecas works only with the client id for the sponsor... and the last information it has is about the file being tranferred from there..

Using my UCI or File number it still doesnt recognize me

210045803, thats pretty quick for meds to be received... does Buffalo or London have your file?

I'm still waiting to find out where my file is. They said we have to wait 30 days. Call center couldn't really tell. I had told the Dr when i went to get the medical test done to send it to buffalo so the medicals should be in buffalo. Hopefully they forwarded the application to buffalo....i wonder though if the letter was just wrong and it really went to buffalo and not london...

u can access it with ur client id..and then ur information (i mean sponsor's information)...

In ecas, you need to enter the File# along with the sponsored person's info (i.e. the person who is coming to canada).

how are you trying to log in to e-cas, do u have client id # or payment reciept. Also the best option is to call them they will be able to put your name back in their computer,so u can check the status. Also have you recieved sponsor approval, ppr anything yet.....heard anythin from cic yet or not???? Btw r u the sponsor or applicant?

I have not heard anything for a while... keep logging onto ecas but still it says application recieved ( abu dhbai ) and my adresses are there.... no AOR yet
is the AOR mailed to me or my husband, I am the sponsor.

Decision made! Except I don't know what it is because I'm away from home visiting my husband for 2 weeks. It's really difficult to not think about that letter waiting for me back in Canada. Looks like some here have the same notice and the outcome was positive. Fingers crossed. Nice to see the process is going by a bit faster than indicated on the website.
Anyway, I'll know in a couple of days.

Hello Everyone,

Having a sad day today haha


I'm kinda lost really - our ecas was updated pretty quickly (when using my huband's (sponsor) details - I'm still not identified apparently haha) They received our application Feb 7th at Miss, Sponsor approved and all forwarded on Mar 4th - my husband got a letter 3 weeks later (thankfully he phoned them to find out the decision so we didn't go insane haha), London received them on Mar 9th and they also updated the medicals have been received...yet...I haven't had a letter to say they received anything...and it's exactly 3 weeks today....maybe I'll just get all the good news at once haha fingers crossed!! I hope ecas can identify me soon!!

my ecas says that they made a decision on march 22nd and sent me a letter in the mail..still havent gotten anything..does it say there if the papers went to my husbands visa office? because if it is supposed to, mine doesnt say anything what does that mean?? any info would be apprechiated.
