Ooppps..sorry...Guess I was confused! If it is the letter from the sponsor it shld help to some degree for sure! I would also think she can send a follow up letter faxed to ND urging them to consider processing your file soon..(that's if u don't hear bk frm them soon) ! I knw some people do this!

My wife was thrilled to see the "We are pleased to advise that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" line, I believes she stopped reading at that point hahaha...

So now I guess the heavy lifting comes... the long haul so to speak.

Turns out we were the ones needing the luck of the Irish, as our eCAS went active on March 18 saying processing had started on March 17. Still awaiting that all important "decision made" line though.

Was ur PCC more than 3 mnths old when it was sent to Missisauga or it expired while it was in process? I'm getting worried now..cause it's a pain to get it done again! pls let me know! Thanx!

Nope ! It was all expired when submitted. So i had to be prepared with the latest one, also the letter from New Delhi asked for the landing fees to be paid by the sponsor.. How is that to be paid and whats the procedure ?

wow...I'm surprised they sent it to ND with the expired pcc...I thought they migh send it bk to the sponsor and ask to re-submit! anyway...Good for u!
landing fee could be paid online or at any Canadian Bank..ur wife needs to pay it..u get get the info in cic.gc.ca

hmmm...usually people pay it before together with the other fee before sending in ur application. If u look in the applictn pkg it says pay the whole fees to avoid delays. Canadian transctns usually take 2-3 business days as it's done electronically. But not sure if if Immigration Canada follows another syaytem to update the client file once pmnt is recvd.
