Hello guys,

I had to search for this thread ..this is the initial thread which I used to chk for any updates..anyways,
I rcvd an email from Paris VO to send them the travel history since 2010 and the latest PCC .Just to let you know ,as mentioned earlier,my address reappeared on 6th Jan (locked on 20th Dec) and a line was added that my application is reviewed and is under Processing since 5th Jan.

I am excited of my application progress and wish you guys good luck in further progress of your application.

I have a very bad news. My e-case status shows as "Withdrawn". The contenet is as follows:

We received your application for permanent residence on February 22, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 30, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Seattle office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Seattle office on April 7, 2010. The Seattle office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the Seattle office on November 2, 2011. The Seattle office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 11, 2012.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

It is really very much frustrating and heart breaking news. After a 2 years of wait, now they are saying that my application has been Withdrawn. I do not know the reason yet. I am waiting for the letter from the Seattle Office. I am not sure whther I should trust the status in e-case or not. My mind is really blank at this point. I was having so many future plans in Canada. Every thing got collapsed in one day.

I do not know what to do at this point.

If you not applied for withdrawn of your application, then it seems to be an error...

How did you know that your application has been withdrawn?? Wait until you get the letter from the seattle office to exactly know what the reason is. you have been patient for 2 long years, Just a few more days. then you can take necc. action based on the letter you get.

Don't worry. This type of ecas status was found a few days ago for some applicants. After some days, it was proved a system error. BTW, did you apply yourself or via an agent? I know a few people who were from same agent and their status was showing the same as you. It was thought to be the problem from the agent, so far, though I don't know the conclusion of the applications.

I think and wish your case may be due to system error. However, don't keep silence. Contact the VO as well.

If you not applied for withdrawn of your application, then it seems to be an error...

By the way your case is little bit confused to me as, you have submitted your documents two times. But, why? would you please clear your case to us?

it is a bug in their software
whenever they rtansfer application between different visa offices, they just change all the previous office names with the new one

Got medical examination request on 17th Jan. The letter says that they have completed the initial assessment and expect to finalize the application without a personal interview.
