Feb applicant

hi everyone,
I have been applied in middle of feb but my wife didn’t receive any acknowledgment letter or email from Mississauga family class sponsorship. Could anybody tell us when we send the application then they should send us the confirmation letter or email . Can I ring them to confirm that have they received my application or not? Plz help me thanks

How did you send the application? I made sure I was able to track the package via Canada Post, so I knew exactly when the application would physically get there (and not get "lost in the mail" or something like that), so in that regards you should know as soon as it gets delivered. However, it took about 4-5 weeks until CIC actually confirmed that my application was received (i.e. they opened the envelope and gave the application a number, etc.).

I don't think it's possible for the call centre to confirm if CIC got your application, unless they actually have opened the envelope and given the application a number, but you can always try and call.

Think confirmations are being sent out in 6-8 weeks now.

She sent by Canada post I tracked the application they received it .
