Not that quick at the Vancouver office. It took at least 20 minutes from the scheduled time to get everyone in the room (about 60 people) go through the instructions etc to start the test.
You have to fill in the circles on the answer sheet pretty hard (machine readable) so it's not super quick either.
I studied pretty hard, so I knew the answers and I had perfect score - it took me about 10-15 minutes to finish the test.
I think I was the 2nd in the whole class to finish.
Back to the waiting room and wait for your turn for an interview. That lasted 5-10 minutes and it was a chat rather than an interview. I was out about an hour after the scheduled time. I was one of the first ones out.
They say 2-3 hours and for the last people to finish the test, that's probably realistic.

Hi Samreen,
Firstly congratulations. You are almost there.

You mentioned the entire process took only 15 minutes tops. The interview you mean?

Can you please let me know how long did it take from the time you arrived, did your test and the interview.

Many thanks

Congrats on going Decision Made. They say that Oath is supposed to be 1 to 3 months after test but there are people who have been waiting as much as 6 months, to be honest no one knows depends on your officer and who ever handles the OATH list to select who is added to it.

I think it is physical file that is transferred as they will also transfer the documents you have mailed with the application.

so may be it is a silly question: is it a physical (the file papers) or electronic transfer of the file to local office..?

CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! :) :D :D :D :D

Happy to finally receive a test invite yesterday

Sent: end of Feb
In process: May
Transferred: June
Test: Oct 1

To my fellow Feb applicants:
I am with you in this journey. I had lots of worries as well because seems like taking forever to get a test invite. I kept checking ECAS every 3 hours daily and wishing for an update. Getting headache on some days at the office ( I'm thinking due to stress whenever I check ECAS).

Overall, about 3 months before I got test invite.

Good luck to all of us. Be patient and pray hard. Wishing everyone positive news too very soon about application.
