@Christine32-

Sorry to jump in. You do NOT need to bring the residency calculator. During my test/interview, I did not bring it nor was it asked for. Simply take along the main docs that you know you should have, i.e PR card, ID docs, All passports, Landing doc etc.

I was unable to retrieve my own residency calculator sheet as weLl, so had that worry. Its not needed. Set your mind at ease!

Thank you!
In some other topics I have also read that we should bring NOA and Employment letter but I don't think these are necessary either.
We will just bring the main documents as you suggested.
Thanks again!

Hi Samreentariq,

When you had the interview and document verification after the test, was your permanent residency calculator checked?
Our invite letter said that we have to bring all supporting documents as listen on the citizenship application checklist. Our residency calculator was saved on our home computer however the computer completely broke down a week ago and we basically lost every documents. :( That means we won't be able to bring the residency calculator form with us. Will that be an issue?

Please advise.

Thank you!

Christine
Hi Christine,

You only need to bring the documents mentioned in the checklist. I took a few extra things which was not required, I ended up taking 4 year NOA's , my T4's and for one visit to U.A.E translation of the stamp but none of it was necessary the officer took a look at my COPR, thumbed through my passport for all entry exit stamps and matched it up with my declarations, Saw my PR card, Driver License and Health Card.

So in effect all you need is :

1) COPR
2) Your Health Card, Driver License and PR card
3) All relevant period passports current and expired

Just an update re: my wife's RQ

1) Used Docbase Canada to translate 3 PP stamps (Arabic to English). Emailed on Aug 21 and documents arrived on Sep 3. They charge $10 per stamp for certified & notarized translation.

2) Mailed the PCH (OHIP) application on Aug 24 using XpressPost, received PCH on Sep 1.

3) Applied online on Aug 21 after creating a FOIAonline account for my wife. Although the online tracking showed an estimated completion on Sep 24; it was actually completed on Sep 3. I downloaded the entry-exit record from online account. I also attached her I-94 Travel Record with this as it seemed to me that the FOIA doesn't show exit records.

We mailed all docs on Sep 4, mail should reach CIC-London today. Not knowing when FOIA will be completed, my wife called CIC call centre (as it stated in her RQ letter) on Sep 1 to notify that she may not able to comply with all required docs by 30 days period. The call centre agent didn't help much other than asking her to send whatever she has to CIC-London with an explanation.

I'm just happy that everything worked out well within the time-frame we were given. Now let's hope it satisfies the case officer and her application doesn't get delayed.

I've provided all the links with this post if it helps someone with similar situation.
My wife's E-Cas now showing "Decision Made". But there is no further details inside.

Can anyone please help? is it normal not to have file transferred entry after 3-months of file going in-process?
Timelines can vary depending on a person's file, circumstances or even the case officer. So it is hard to quantify what is normal and what is not in the entire process.

It means they have made a decision on your file, the next step usually is for the Local Office to schedule you for the Oath ceremony which can take anywhere between 1 to 3 months depending on your office, so for now your wait begins to get another letter in snail mail pink in color stating the date for OATH ceremony.

Thanks for your reply but I'm aware of it as I myself got citizenship few months back. However my e-Cas never showed "Decision Made". But again, my wife's case is little different as she got RQ'd. We are just hoping that CIC-London will stick to the planned oath date of mid-October as was told during her post-test interview.

First of all congrats on completing the test stage. Vancouver has been the fastest office so far for IP to Test to Oath the officers do give a generally large time frame but it happens quicker than that usually.

This is weird. why is your file only, is it related to local office. Actually I don't understand what is meant by in transition: transferred or not
