Thecoolguysam, it took you only 4months for you to write the test from the date you have sent your application. May I know which local office yr file was transferred to?

Congrats Maverick2k4! Finally, a big relief for you! It is unfortunate that you had to go through this anxious wait for so long!
The next step would be a status change to "In process" in a week or within few weeks. This will be followed by transfer of your file to the local CIC office. Assuming everything is fine, the next step is the invitation letter for the test / interview in a month or two, and then, eventually you would be sent the "oath letter". Depending upon the backlog at the local office and the specifics of our application, the time taken would vary for everyone.
I wish that everything proceeds faster for you, at least from now on!
