Feb 2015 citizenship applicants

The agent told me my file is still in Nova Scotia and they have not started processing it yet. BUT he did say something about when it starts processing they will send it to Mississauga!

According to my calculations I should be getting my file in process next week. Seems it takes about a month between received and In Process

How do you know that they will send it to Mississauga? Do you have an idea about Toronto (Downtown area) applicants?
 
Hi I am very new to this site, and I have one question. Any help will greatly be appreciated !

Mailed on Feb 20th, 2015,
Received on Feb 23rd, 2015.
AOR on March 17th, 2015
Started processing on March 31st, 2015,
Transferred to Vancouver office on April 13th, 2015.

Does anybody know as to how long would it take for the Vancouver office to process my Citizenship application? and what is the next step?

Dear Mirror77
Next step is test invitation letter if you didn't received any Fingerprint or RQ letter . Vancouver office is fast as in our December Applicants group five members got their test date with in 47 to 55 days. Best of Luck .

So sar, I have not received any Fingerprint or RQ letter. At which stage should one expect to receive these requests? After writing the citizenship test, or before?

No body wants these requests before or after test but it canbe any time during processing of application.

Finally some movement for us!

4.Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Surrey office on April 16, 2015. The Citizenship Surrey office will contact you.

Now to tell hubby to start studying, not sure how long it will take to get a test date.

no movement... i called cic and they said it was too soon to check status with them.

You must've spoken with the same person. I had the exact same reply today. She didn't even bother looking it up :( :o
