It has been fixed!
Thanks for the remark.

You must also be getting your AOR pretty soon, I believe.

Congrats fellow Albertan Maple_tree15.

Now lets see if they respond to mine - even though I live in the Alberta sticks.

Hello Everyone, been following this thread anonymously for quite a while... Just to reassure those waiting I decided to post. Here is my timeline thus far:

Application rvcd: 6th Feb
AOR: Today, 13th Mar

My application was simple as they come in the sense that, I sent only the information asked for i.e no extra nonsense docs like I've been hearing people suggesting. I sent the specifications as defined in the checklist. Also since arriving in Canada, I never left the country, so no worries about travel records etc. I attached a very short note indicating why I hadn't renewed my expired passport.

The point I'm trying to make is this:
send only what they ask for.
Leave no gaps in time, work history, travel history.
Use a brief note to explain gaps.
Leave no reasons for questions or doubts.

Once again, I attached no T4's and bla bla bla's. Folks should forget about the false hope that extra paper means faster processing- Its an illusion.

My two cents...
