i got the letter before it was updated on the e-cas. i believe it takes the similar time from the local office to deliver the letter (locally) as to send information to CIC. the office doesn't update e-cas. may be different when the office isn't in the same city.

I am the wrong example in the list ... Looks like CIC Scarborough got an issue with my app. I got a mail from CIC Scar to sign the consent to get the CBSA records. I did it when I sent the Citizenship app, not sure why they asked again.

I had lot of US trips which I am thinking they were not able to validate. But all the time, I had the impression that they did that as part of there background check.

Good to hear some positive news.. hopefully mine will arrive next week

I had the same issue, but since I stay in Windsor, I guess the officer understood it better. I mentioned to her I have a really close school friend in Michigan whom I visit almost every month, other than doing grocery, watching sports and movies, going to IKEA.
