I think your reply is so mean, the person didn't say that they think CIC employees are retarded in fact even if they do it for living wouldn't you think if everyone organized their papers it would be easy, and faster for the officers to look through the application to verify the information...

First congratulation on your oath,,,, Second on the day of ceremony they only ask you for the PR card and they take it away from you, that's it. As of you might need it for pension I have no clue about that.

Just apply the free one or if you don't mind you can apply for both.
