Fear of Misrepresentation

Hello, we submitted our spousal application on February 20, 2023 and now I am worried about if we updated form IMM5669 to answer 'Yes' to the visa refusal question. What do you think we should do?
Is there anyway to withdraw our application? Should we send a webform?

For context: We applied for a TRV in Sep 2020...2 years and many webforms later, we got a refusal in Dec 2022. However, we started completing the spousal application online forms in November 2022. At the time, the answer to the visa refusal question was 'No' as we had not yet received a decision. We did review the forms before submitting on the 20th of February but neither of us can remember if we changed the visa refusal answer to 'Yes' and now I am worried as I am unsure if this will be considered misrepresentation.

@scylla do you have any opinions on this? Do I leave it alone and let it play out? Send a webform with clarification in the body of the webform? Send a letter of explanation?

You've already been given the right advice above.

No, you do not just leave this alone and let this play out. This is serious misrepresentation.

Take the advice you've already been given an action this asap.
