Friends, I would like to know the process to update my Canadian address to a US address to receive FBI summary check. What is the process to update the address? Should I send the scan copy of address form to FBI through email? How they will link it to my application which is received but yet not opened.?

Hi rajibsam,

Yes just Mail them the scanned copy of the signed address change form... They will update it in their system.. against your name and date of birth...

Call their customer care number the day your credidcard gets charged to confirm the address change..

Thank you. I have sent certified check, hence may not know when they will process my file. But shall keep track of the dates.

No Problem.. you can call around the date when they are opening your application... That will work as well..

My request reached FBI on 19th feb. CIC hasn't yet asked me for it.. Hopefully I'll get it within first extension after they ask for it.

My stay in US was more than 6 months in total (close to 10 months).. but not in one stretch.
I submitted my app before CIc's new rule of requiring FBI PCC for total of 6 months.

Has anybody in same situation and asked for PCC by CIC?

My credit card was charged on March 24. My application was received by them on December 14, 2015.

I exchanged few e-mails with them.
Those people are so out of control and lack any kind of coordination .....

I asked since my card was charged does it mean that my certificate was sent it is possible to get a tracking number and they replied that my application is in the final stage and that they will send it in A FEW days and there are no tracking numbers.
So I wrote again to ask when can I get confirmation that my certficiate was sent and still no reply.

The responses are always so vague that you have to guess what is happening with your file ...

They start the finger print processing after charging the credit card. Usually it takes 2-3 days as per previous posts. Certificate is sent through first class mail, so no tracking number.

Hi guys,

I sent in my fingerprints to the FBI back in early December and got a 60 day extension to submit my PCC to my EE profile. I was calling the FBI daily to check my application status because I was worried my PCC wouldnt be sent out in time to meet my 60 day deadline, which is up on April 2.. but a few days ago I called and they said that there was a problem with my cc payment form and that they had pulled my file and i would have to submit a new cc form and being the 16+ week waiting period all over again :-[

I submitted a CSE with an LOE and emails between me and the FBI, but im really worried they wont see the CSE before April 2... Does anyone have experience with uploading an LOE in the place meant for the PCC in your EE profile? Is there another way I can ask for a second extension that will be visible on my profile in the next few days?

Im so worried, any help would be great
