Yes actually I do. It's been around 9 weeks for me, from USA applied Outland. They are taking their sweet time. I sent cic the receipt to prove I did the fingerprints and got them sent to the FBI but who knows if that's even enough for them.v4x said:Hi, CIC gives us 90 days for this, but it has been two months, still no reply from FBI.
their website shows standard processing time 12 to 14 weeks!
If we cannot make it within 90 days, what should we do? it's not our fault.
Anyone has similar situation???
I live in Canada and my husband lives in the US, I sponsor him.jeff198901 said:Do you live in the USA?
I had good luck with Fieldprint. No idea whether they're available in your area or not.v4x said:Does anyone know where can we find a legitimate third party channeler? thanks.
There's an FBI processing thread here somewhere. Our experience was that it took 10 weeks. From dropping it off in a post office in Illinois (via regular post) and receiving it in hand May 1st here in Canada.v4x said:Hi, CIC gives us 90 days for this, but it has been two months, still no reply from FBI.

I know I was not the thread starter but thank you for the suggestion. I sent a CSE yesterday with the receipt for the fingerprints, so I will see what happens.Ponga said:CIC is well aware of the FBI delays.
You can either send a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) to CIC, explaining that you are still waiting (and include proof of when you submitted the request to the FBI).
Or...if you can afford to do this again, you can use an approved third-party Channeler (for a U.S. citizen, only) to obtain the FBI IHSR letter (PCC) within a matter of minutes, or at worst a couple of days.
I suggest the first option.
