Just Called the FBI, they said my fingerprints went through and they will mail it out this Monday.

Does anyone know if CIC lets you know when they receive your FBI PCC. I mailed mine to them 2weeks ago and never got a response from them. They did send me another documents request 8 days after my PCC reached their office. Not sure if that means they got it or not.

Does anyone know if the FBI PCC is needed at the time of landing as well?

Specifically, since the PCC is only valid for 6 months is it a problem if you do your landing 6 months after your PCC was issued?

Looks like i will be getting my FBI PCC next week but i will be moving out from USA at 19th August and wont come again.

Will Canada request another FBI PCC since my PCC wont cover around 10 days of my stay in USA?



If you help me I would really appreciate it. i am desperately seeking you help.

Can someone tell me which is the from address in such mails, which is one of the fields I need to put in in my search request. Is it the 1000 Custer Hollow address, or a PO Box through which the mail is router? Thanks in advance.

@Isilduirsheir Sorry to hear that. The 'From' address is indeed 1000 Custer Hollow. Additionally, it may make sense to walk over to your local USPS and check if they have been misdelivering your mail. The mail is first class so there is a responsibility to properly track official mail.

@deadbird thanks for providing the details, and also the suggestion. My friend (who lives in that address) has visited the post office, and all of us called them a bunch of time. The only response I got is - "if you are getting all your bills, we don't pick and choose your mails". While I could do without their attitude, I do think it's not them, it's probably getting lost somewhere in the way. I have 2 separate mails from FBI, 1 from IL state, 1 from FL state - which did not get delivered. I am not sure how to fix them, but I would try to get the new sets in a different address, and pray to powers that be!

Hi Guys,

I'm in a bit of a predicament I received my ITA July 13 2016 and was getting ready to submit my e-APR when and only then noticed that i require an FBI Clearance report as i have visited the US on holiday multiple times and cumulatively it adds up to 6 month. I was not aware of this rule until now, so nowI am applying for FBI clearance but this process take about 14 weeks and my work permit is about to expire so i have to submit my e-APR in order to apply for a work permit extension do you think CIC will give me an extension for FBI clearance? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How long did it take to receive the mail from FBI? Cause Mine was sent out on 1st August, and I live in IL, USA as well.
