Congrats, that's great news. Does it mean the fingerprints went through?

I sent mine on May 11th reached FBI on May 13th, finger's crossed.

Folks - I still have not received my report which was mailed out on 11-Jul-2016. I called the FBI, and they said that for internal mail in the US, as per FBI policy it is considered lost after 21 working days. So I would continue to look for this, hoping it turns up soon in IL.

Sorry to hear that bro.. Nothing more frustrating than waiting 3 months only to have to wait another 4-5 weeks wondering if it had been lost in the mail!

Today I call to the FBI and they told me my fingerprints went through and they are sending my report tomorrow morning

Fingerprints sent: 02/May/2016
Arrived: 04/May/2016
Credit card charged: 19/July/2016
Processed: 21/july/2016

I have a question regarding the PCCs and their validity period.

I have been living in the USA for a few years now, when I submitted my application I sent PCCs from my home country and currently waiting for FBI PCC for my wife (CIC gave us 60 day extension for the delay)

I am moving back to my country in a month and leaving the US. Question is, do I need a new PCC from FBI(current one acquired 1 month ago) as well as my home country(the one I submitted was acquired 2 months ago)?

Hello Everyone,

I had submitted my application on 15th May 2016 with an LOE for FBI PCC extension. I received the extension for 60 days, expiring 19th July. Though my PCC was mailed out on 11th July, I was unsure of receiving it by 19th (deadline) in New Delhi, so I raised a CSE for a second extension on 18th July. I also uploaded the explanation letter with required proofs (email response from FBI confirming mailing out date and my CC account statement showing date CC charged) on the CIC portal.

I received the PCC today!!

Since I haven't heard from CIC regarding anything yet, what is the best way forward? Should I wait for them to grant me a 2nd extension or should I upload the PCC via CSE? Please advise.

I don't know if there is a correct answer to your question but it seems to me that there is no harm in uploading your PCC with a LOE.

If CIC accepts your PCC, then you're good. If they grant you an extension, then you can upload it once again. Either way you are fulfilling the requirements of the PCC.

Just called FBI and was told my PCC application is opened and being processed. My account is yet to be charged though. Fingers crossed. I've got an extension by CIC till Sept. 23 to upload. My application was delivered to FBI May 11

Thanks, I believe processing credit card means they opened your package and its now in queue for processing. Planning to call them to today/tomorrow to check if fingerprints went through.

My application reached May 11 as well. Just called go check up this morning and they told me they were processing May 9 today. Did anyone get the same response?
