I appreciate the response, mamaJM, thanks. I and my wife have decided that this is it. We're not going to re-do our FBI PCC anymore. So if our app gets rejected and (even with our advancing age) we have enough points to get ITA the next time around, then we're just sending the old ones. The ball's in IRCC's court 8)

Yea, I feel you! My husband received his FBI report during his 2weeks visit to the US,just a week before he left. We made the calculation that he was going to be out before the report came, but FBI became faster lately and we got it earlier than planned. Luckily he had already sent in another sets of fingerprint, in anticipation of a rejection. So I have included the report we received and details of the new one sent if they deem the report insufficient. But my husband was so furious, he said does that mean if he has work/business in the US, he has to not go close to when the FBI will be ready! I just hope they take his report, if not we have to wait another 2 months to submit it

This is my wife's second time applying for FBI PC. For the first time, we went to a professional technician and got our fingerprints with ink. Mine was accepted and my wife's got rejected. Luckily we submitted her backup set of fingerprints one month later that was done by LiveScan. Now they were accepted and I hope we will never have to deal with this nightmare again.

Congrats! It's really a nightmare. My prints were rejected twice too, I also have doubts with the ink method, live scan gives so much peace of mind. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Ask and you shall receive! Just called them and the lady said they're processing and opening January 27th today. Sounded like she was BS-ing because they were processing the 28th yesterday.

Yeah, you are right. That's definitely BS! I hope they get to 3 Feb soon! Can't deal with fingerprint rejection after such a long wait!

I called last Thursday and the lady says they are processing Jan 27th. When I call today, another person say they are processing Jan 28th.So who knows? Maybe they stop working again...

Today i received mail from FBI and they said :

At this time we are opening mail we received on approximately 2/01/2016, without a tracking number (provided by a courier)

Yesterday I received 3rd FBI PCC :. But I applied for only 2.

FBI PCC dated 2-Apr-2016 (Received by FBI on 30th Dec)
FBI PCC dated 9-Apr-2016 (received by FBI on 14th Jan)
FBI PCC dated 13-Apr-2016 (ghost request) - Didnt order the 3rd one (double checked my credit card, no extra charge).

Whether any body know how to apply for duplicate report. I report posted by 11th Apr to India ,- chennai address but till now I didn't get it.
