How do you know you got a second extension? Did you apply for one via MyCIC?
Please let me know, I sent a message to them on Friday, but I have not yet heard back.

I raised CSE first ...no reply
then 2 days before deadline i applied through Mycic .........and got extension on deadline day through a msg on mycic.

what about u ....did u use mycic?

yes ....long long wait ......moreover i never needed FBI pcc otherwise i would have applied in august itself and would have gotten long back .......my stay in USA is less than six months so i thought i wont need it and applied without it .........but visa officer asked for it in nov .......it was unfair but i hope it all ends on a positive note.

I have raised a CSE right now- since I am far away from my deadline. Hopefully they get back to me before my deadline, but if they don't, I'll upload my request via MyCIC.

Looks like they are speeding it up.

Can anyone tell me how long it may take to get the certificate delivered to NJ after CC is charged ?

I can confirm that, Just called them. They said my application (which was received on December 4th) is "currently processing". When i asked her why my credit card wasnt charged yet and does it mean my fingerprints didnt get accepted. She said "No, its just processing" and i cant give you more information!!!! So i guess i have to wait and see.

Sent my application Nov 25th. It was, foolishly, unregistered, so I am not sure the exact date it arrived from Canada, but probably Dec1st or 2nd. Card was charged today.

Just got this reply to CSE:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

You may upload the receipt that you received from the police agency/department (when applying for your police clearance) and a letter of explanation; note that that is not a guarantee of acceptance. Each application under Express Entry is to be considered on its own merits, with a final decision based on a review of all the information available to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) officer at the time of decision.

I was hoping for a more assuring response :'( :'(

yup its automated .......those have scary language

for example when they give me deadline to submit FBI pcc they say if u fail to submit by this date ur application will be rejected as incomplete...........but they give extension
dont worry u will be fine

oh but after my deadline they have gained speed .....i have another application which reached there dec 9 ....they are coming close to it

You have to understand that every single email (and its contents) from CIC, or any government agency for that matter, is legally approved by an extensive legal team of their own. The language is deliberately kept that way to free themselves of any liability and also indicating a situation of them having the ultimate power over the entire process. If you were the CIC, I'm willing to bet you'd phrase it the exact same way.

My deadline is the 18th of March, i submitted a LOE via mycic And raised a CSE, I just received a message on cic for a second extension of 30 days, but what is interesting is the following sentence
"You have been given 30 days from the date of this correspondence; however you may upload this
document to your MyCIC account once you receive it.! Please refrain from uploading explanations and questions into MyCIC

So, i guess, they are saying " We know there is a delay, just send it when u get it"

Yours is the first reported case -here- that took less than 15 weeks since the beginning of 2016!

The FBI got my application on October 29.
They charged my credit card on February 22.
They mailed the certificate on February 24.

Three weeks later and it still hasn't arrived to my Canadian address.

Where in Canada? I've seen a case where the PCC got to Toronto in 10 days. I live in Toronto and I am still waiting for FBI to process my application. Kind of start worrying about it.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let all know that today I got my PPR.. To give a positive note..

I had got an initial extension of 60 days to submit FBI PCC based on my initial LOE with my application...

I also got a second extension when I submitted another LOE using a CSE..

Uploaded the FBI PCC on 25th jan and my Bg chk in my application went into progress in 3 weeks.. And in 10 days got PPR ..


Guys. FBI PCC is a nightmare experience..but IRCC is aware of it delay... All will go well..
