Thanks to Kuskus and Harry.
I am taking help of local police who does it frequently, they are just reluctant to sign it.

No worries if they sign it or not ..you should have scannable prints on the paper that's the only thing that matters ..best of luck .!!

Since I have never used a livescan, I have no idea what to look out for. From what I have read on the internet, it seems to be a good option for taking fingerprints. I guess clear fingerprints rolled properly with appropriate pressure goes for the paper fingerprints. I am sorry I don't know how the livescan works.

Thanks for your response.

Livescan is electronic scanning. There is a machine on which the technician will roll your fingers and the prints will be visible on the screen above. The software will assess the prints right there if they are OK or NOT (with green or red indicators). After all the prints are done, and are passed by the software, the technician will print them on the standard FD-258 paper. Although in general, these prints can also be sent electronically to FBI, but not for our case.

Regards

Thanks for your response.

Hi Guyz ,

Today i got My RPRF mail with that they are requesting my spouse FBI Report , but he stayed in US not more that a month. He visited 3-4 times , but always stayed 3-4 days.

I stayed there for 9 months and i have applied for it in March , do we need to apply for his FBI report ? Kindly suggest.

I have seen it before also with couple of applications ..
Best thing to do is apply for your husbands FBI report ASAP and also write a email to the concerned VO explaining that ur husband has not lived in U.S. For a period of 6 months hence would request you to reconsider submission of PCC for him from the U.S. ..they will wave it off I am sure ..

Hey sinsi its better u apply for FBI PCC asap ..they have asked for FBI PCC for my spouse too..she never stepped US..its better to submit what they have asked
