Hi,

I am currently in US, but will be moving back to India in a couple of months.

I got my fingerprints done recently and planning to send it soon.

Given that it takes so much time for processing, I was wondering if I can provide a mailing address for India?

Is there anyone who has done this?

Is there a separate fee since it will be an international mail?

Yes you can give a Indian address ..as they send the report by first class mail only be it anywhere in the world
There is no separate fee for it ..you just have to pay the $18 regular fee for processing

Thanks! On some posts I read that people have included a return envelope with prepaid postage!

I hope this is not necessary? Can someone who has received PCC out of US confirm this?

Thats for the Passport being sent from USA to ottawa canada for stamping..we need to send a prepaid postage.

FBI returns it through first class mail only,my brother had received it and it took 12 days to reach india.

Give address of an Indian Metro city only. Minimized chances of it getting lost.

So my CC finally got charged for FBI PCC. What does this say about acceptance of my finger prints?

Nothing at all, they charge first and then check the fingerprints.

FBI charges the credit card then start processing. I was charged on my first fingerprints and they were not accepted

You can give Indian address for mailing. How ever I will recommend to provide your relatives/ friends US address only and then they can courier back to you to India address. Mine was missed during the mail to India. Some of them received it... again its more than 2 months not yet received the India FBI.. I have to request another later...
