Oct 27th Applicant for FBI PCC.
Got extension email from NDVO today (Got reply for CSE )
"Please be advised that an extension of 60 days has been granted for submission of FBI Certificate." So new deadline is Apr 11th.
Called FBI today .They have asked me to call next for the update ( Finger print acceptance not known )

Just called FBI. They are currently processing oct 17 applications. Told me it will take couple of weeks for oct 27 to be processed. No idea on fingerprinting readable or not :(

I have a query for which i didt get response in main thread.(Sorry for posting here... but this group can give some advise )

I traveled to U.S after submission of FSW application from india and planning to stay for longer period. My family is also expected to join with me in U.S by next month.

Once i Submit FBI PCC this month end. I expect PPR would come around May/June (from NDVO) .

Is it possible to get the stamping done in U.S itself ? What should be done for this.

Brother, what is your VO ? If it is Singapore VO, then I suggest you to go ahead applying for FBI PCC. Why? because I lived in US for only 5 months totally, i.e 2 months for first time, 3 months for the second time, and yes I was still insisted to provide FBI PCC.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, I applied for FBI PCC last year and got a reply from them that my fingerprints were of low quality. I just submitted another FBI PCC application which was received by their office on Feb 2, but I am thinking of ways to go ahead without FBI PCC, i.e. with state certificate, letter from fingerprint technician clarifying skin condition causing poor fingerprints, and rejection letter from FBI. I’m applying from Canada VO.

Dear members I need your help
I sent the documents my Vo requested from me and it was received by them yesterday, I live in Jordan so I sent them a Jordanian police certificate for me and my wife but it seems that they want the pcc to be done at a different department in Jordan.
For the FBI pcc I couldn't send it but I sent them a proof that I applied and sent them Illinois pcc for both of us
For my home country pcc it also takes time so I sent them a proof that I applied.
I received an email from my VO today but I couldn't understand if I got an extension? Did they accept the state pcc?
Below is their email to me:
Dear Sir,

We acknowledge receipt of your documents.

Please remember that all police certificates must be submitted as originals accompanied by certified translations; you may find bellow the instructions for Jordan police certificates.

to me

Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

It is not a regulation that police certificates are only require if you stayed for a period of six or more consecutive months. Therefore you are still require to provide a FBI police certificate to our office.

We hope this information will be of assistance.

Sincerely,

This sounds like a lower level employee who has no authority to give you a waiver from the FBI PCC nor can give you the extension. If you want you can do a CSE for the extension. I hope a more responsible person responds to it.

Can you explain what you mean by "CSE"?

"this does not preclude further criminal history at the state or local level"

What does this mean can you guys please help I have this on my report.

Thank you I'm really confused, is it better to reply to their email or send a CSE?

My timeline is identical, except for the completion date, which ocurred on Thursday and according to costumer service my report was mailed out over the weekend to a friend in USA. That's weird coz I got an e-mail today informing that the report is yet to be sent.
Please keep posting any news on your case.

Dear forum Members,

I applied for FBI PCC on 6th Oct 2014(FBI received date) ( for self and Spouse).

As per FBI customer care our reports are processed on 23rd Jan 2015.

we are in US only and as per USPS mail it takes 3 days to get it delivered at my address.

Today i again called FBI and he still see same status processed they dont have date when it is posted.

He told me t0 call them again after 3 weeks from Processed date.

Will they send me another copy of report if it would not delivered in 3 weeks or I have to restart the whole process?

Appreciate your views....
