Called them few minutes back, she said the mail should be going out today.

I asked if the fingerprints have been accepted , she just said the mail will be sent to you. Now my next 3 days will be more stressful. :-X :-X :-X since I gave address of one of my buddy living in US I hope the letter reaches him in 3 days.

Some of these people who take the calls are pretty rude. If you are really curious you can always act dumb and call again today or later tomorrow, and hope to get another person on the line. I'm sure you will be able to find someone who can tell you if your fingerprints have been accepted.

Fully agree. I did not get a satisfactory / clear response from the first customer service agent, so I called back 5 mins later and got a helpful one. I specifically asked if their records show if my submitted fingerprints were of acceptable quality, and he confirmed "yes they were readable, and we could run the background check".

Card charged: 9th Dec
Results mailed out: 27th Jan

I calculated 70 working days from the day they received your application to the day they finished it. 70 days. I made the math using my received date and guess what, the result should be done today.
Why did it take so long to be delivered? Where do you live?

I live in South Korea. FBI send all of their report through USPS first class mail and it usually takes 2-3 weeks to asian countries I guess. The date on envelope was 12 jan but I heard from customer service that mail date is no later than 16 jan.
It seems mail date from customer service is later than the exact one. So be pacient and the mail will come!

I'm also waiting for another mail. I know it is hard to wait for such a long time without knowing when it will come.

The trick is to have the report delivered to someone in the US, and then have them remailed and expedited overseas.

They said that they are finalizing 14th Oct. Different story in each call we make. Btw, thank you for the information.

My friend has sent her application on 13 Dec 2014 , and received on 16 Dec 2014
CIC only gave here till 15 March. She is asking for an extension. She is really worried now Anyone is also having the same timeline as my friend? Thank you. Pray for all of this will be done soon.
